In this Introduction to Babysitting Course, participants will learn interviewing tips, communication skills, ages and stages of young babies and toddlers, safety and first aid tips, and feeding and caring for children, including diaper changing. Do you love marine life, but don’t have time to make it to the ocean this summer? Have no fear, Nile is here! This life-size inflatable humpback whale is swimming to your local library for a fun, educational experience. Discover the remarkable similarities between whales and humans, and have the hands-on-experience of touching real whale artifacts! There are four 30-minute time slots to experience the inside of the whale. As space is very limited, this is for children only. There will be additional whale activities available in the Community Room while you wait.
