When your materials are ready for pickup you will be notified (via email, text or phone). You can then call us to schedule a convenient pick-up time or you can drop by the Library and let us know when you are here.

The service is available at the Branch Library from Monday through Friday and at the Main Library from Monday through Saturday: for more detailed information please click here.

Browsing at the Branch

The Library Board of Trustees has announced that the Browsing at the Branch service will be temporarily suspended due to the recent increase in the number of local Covid cases. The final session of browsing will be Wednesday, November 25. While no date has been set for the resumption of browsing services, the Board and the administrative staff will continue to monitor the situation and are committed to restoring the service when they believe it can be done in a safe and responsible manner.

We are also going to try – if the weather cooperates – to offer some popup children’s programs over the fall.  The Library's Response to the Pandemic

The Library’s goal during the Pandemic is to offer services to the public in a responsible, safe and sustainable manner. In practice this means evaluating external circumstances and adjusting our services in relation to those circumstances. The Library will make all possible efforts to ensure continuous service during the Pandemic and will, whenever possible, look to introduce innovative and nontraditional services to make up for traditional services that are not possible. At all times, the health and safety of staff and patrons will be of the utmost importance.

The Library has developed a Building Reopening Plan that forms the basis for our planning. The Library's senior employees make recommendations to the Board of Trustees: the Board meets each month to review these recommendations and make decisions about services. These meetings are open to the public (they are currently being held via Zoom): agendas, with login details, are posted on the website each month. In addition, after each meeting the Library Director posts an update on the website and the official minutes of Board Meetings are also available through the website.
